1 Giant Leap

1 Giant Leap is a crossover project of musician Jamie Catto ( Faithless founding member ) and producer Duncan Bridgeman from 2001 to unite music and pictures from 20 countries in the context of an increasingly globalized world in the genre of world music. Album and film published in autumn 2002.

The project had Baaba Maal, among others ( musicians from Senegal ), Maxi Jazz ( singer of Faithless ), Neneh Cherry, the Scottish singer Eddi Reader, Michael Stipe ( lead singer of REM), Robbie Williams and The Mahotella Queens from South Africa with.

1 Giant Leap has been released as a DVD with stereo and 5.1 surround sound mixing, and on CD. The DVD will also find statements by Dennis Hopper, Tom Robbins, Anita Roddick and Kurt Vonnegut.
