10 Hudson Yards

10 Hudson Yards (also known under the name Hudson Yards South Tower and coach Tower ) is a skyscraper under construction located in New York City.

With the construction of the building was begun in late 2012, the groundbreaking ceremony officially in January 2013. The tower is located on the so-called Hudson Yards - a district in the far west of Manhattan. The name derives from the Hudson River, which marks the western edge of the island of Manhattan. The street address is 10th Avenue and West 30th Street. Currently (as of end of 2013 ) is here a huge complex of buildings created, similar to the World Trade Center.

Initial planning for the project have already been presented in the summer of 2011. 10 Hudson Yards to be 273 feet high and 52 floors include. The building is designed as a pure office tower, with Coach ( an international handbag manufacturer) is the main tenant. With the development of the construction plans by the renowned American architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox was commissioned. The building is to be fully equipped with a glass facade and conclude with a crooked flat roof. In addition, the tower is to be integrated into the New York High Line.
