109th United States Congress

The 109th Congress of the United States, consisting of the House of Representatives and the Senate, was the legislature of the United States. His legislative period lasted from 4 January 2005 to 3 January 2007. All 435 Members of the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 senators (class III) had been elected in the midterm elections on 2 November 2004.
