1,1 '- bis (diphenylphosphino) ferrocene DPPF short, is an organometallic compound. It has a ferrocene skeleton, at the cyclopentadienyl rings each have a diphenylphosphino group is substituted. Dppf is a bidentate chelating ligand which complexes on its phosphorus atoms of metal ions.

Use

Dppf can be used as a phosphine ligand in a series of organometallic cross-coupling reactions. It features compared to similar ligands such as dppm, dppe and dppp by a larger bite angle.
