(12405) Nespoli

( 12405 ) Nespoli is one of the main asteroid belt, which from the Italian astronomer Valter Giuliani and Francesco Manca Osservatorio Astronomico on Sormano (IAU code 587 ) was discovered in Sormano on 15 September 1995.

The asteroid was named after the Italian engineer Paolo Nespoli and astronaut ( b. 1957 ) named the 1987 from the design of the Tethered Satellite System and worked as a second Italian mission specialist in 2007 cooperated in his shuttle flight aboard Discovery in the expansion of the ISS.
