Politics and World Affairs
- The Knights of St John, the Order of Malta Knights later, settle on the island of Rhodes, after they have been driven out of Jerusalem by the Muslims.
- Robert of Anjou (* 1278 ), also known as the way becomes King of Naples. He will eventually become the most bitter enemies of Henry VII of Luxembourg.
- Starting this year, France sets the guidelines for Politics Pope. Pope Clement V moved the Pope 's seat and the seat of the Curia to Avignon. Thus, the so-called " Avignonesische Exile " begins ( to 1376 ).
