England / Wars of the Roses

Edward, Earl of March, who leads after the death of his father, Richard Plantagenet, 3rd Duke of York in December of last year the House of York in the Wars of the Roses, defeated on 2 February, the Lancastrians under Owen Tudor and Jasper Tudor, 1st Duke of Bedford, at the Battle of Mortimer 's Cross. On February 22, it comes to the Second Battle of St Albans, where the Yorkists under Richard Neville, 16th Earl of Warwick, the House of Lancaster under Margaret of Anjou subject.

On March 28, the smaller battle ends in a draw at Ferrybridge. But the very next day it comes to the bloodiest ever beaten on English soil battlefield: The House of York wins the battle of Towton against the house of Lancaster, the way to the English throne for Edward IV is free. On June 28th he was crowned as the king.
