15 minutes truth is a German short film by Nico Zingelmann from the year 2007.

The political economic thriller deals with the question of the relationship, it is clear that companies lay off staff, although they reported no drop in sales, but rising profits.

Action

The 50 -year-old Georg Komann and his colleagues at the Jaffcorp Investment AG is terminated completely by surprise and without adequate compensation from their employer. They stand in front of the personal from, because they know that no one over- 50 -year-old readjusts. Komann devises a risky plan that he could secure the future of himself and his friends. He puts everything on one card and asks his boss Sebastian mountain to a conversation, one that could change his life - in any direction - a conversation of 15 minutes.

Berg offers Komann to a settlement, which he refuses, because he is the only apparently to be rewarded lavishly. He wants to work for the employees and demanded compensation for those who are to be dismissed, as many are over 50 and have no chance to get a new job. Berg makes the but cold. Komann told in the interview that he knows, however, that the company in Switzerland has a secret account and much money has been set aside managed. With the knowledge he wants to put his young boss under pressure and threatened to go public. Mountain can not be sure but, because he is in the faith, Komann have no evidence. Komann tells his boss that this was used by the management only to open the account. Thus, the Board was exalted above all suspicion and mountain at the end of the bogeyman. Komann claimed that the secret account he and his staff have already been resolved. Berg does not think so. On his desk he has a notebook with the TAN numbers to perform transactions to. Komann says that he also could not remember what mountain now believes Komann had the notebook stolen and secretly photocopied. In fact Komann pulls from his jacket pocket copies. Since the TAN numbers are valid only once, to the mountain but does not worry and calls secretly live mail security services. As Komann leaves the office, leaves mountain arrest him by the security guard.

Berg now calls to the bank in Zurich to ask if there were transactions in the last 24 hours. The alleged employee on the phone denies this. Berg goes out into the hall, where Komann remains in handcuffs, and says with a grin, that he would have had him almost. Komann thinks that the attempt it was worth. Mountain looks Komann as traitors. He had abused the trust when he was caught as he stole confidential documents. He had gambled away everything, and no one would hire him now more. The guy picks up instruction from mountain in the jacket pocket of Komann and bring the alleged copy of the TAN numbers out, but turns out to be only a menu card to the dismay of the mountain. In the presence of the security man but he acts as if this was really a copy of the TAN numbers and assumed Komann espionage. Furthermore, evidence gathered until Komann unpacks eliminated. The conversation was diverted intentionally by the secretary.

Shortly thereafter receives a voice mail from mountain Komann, the whole thing was planned by the staff in order to get at the TAN number, the mountain has given over the phone. The employee, who posed as a Swiss banker on the phone, this TAN number listed on and called the bank in Switzerland to make a transaction. Now the employees have the money. Berg then calls to the security guard and causes Komann release. Komann explained on the voice mail that mountain the money will not get back, less a reasonable allowance for the employees. Only then they would keep the secret. He assures him that this still have a long and successful future in Jaffcorp and will find a way to balance everything discreet. Berg is furious and comes into his office to the chair, on the Komann has just been sitting. Komann, the secretary and the colleague who has been posing as Swiss, left the company and give their badges from the porter. This presents Komann a recording device. On the tape you can hear the voice mail that was sent the porter as a record of mountain. The conversation in the hall, he has also recorded.
