( 15651 ) Tlepolemus is an asteroid from the group of Jupiter Trojans. Thus asteroids are called, which run on the path of Jupiter on the Lagrange points around the sun.
( 15651 ) Tlepolemus was discovered on 22 October 1960 by the Dutch astronomer Cornelis Johannes van Houten, Ingrid van Houten - Groeneveld and Tom Gehrels at Palomar Observatory. He is associated with the Lagrangian point L4.
The asteroid is named after Tlepolemus, the son of Hercules and King of Rhodes.
