1717 Broadway

1717 Broadway (including Courtyard and Residence Inn Manhattan Central Park ) is a skyscraper in New York City, borough of Manhattan. The building was named for its address on Broadway.

Designed with a height of nearly 230 meters Nobutaka Ashihara Associates the architectural office building is the tallest hotel building in New York and released after its completion in 2013 from the Four Seasons Hotel. On the 68 floors there are two different hotels. Construction began in summer 2011, at the end of October, two construction cranes were built and almost completed the work on the foundation and the underground floors. Following the establishment of the above-ground floors, and thus gradually their expansion and the glass panel began. The final height of the building was achieved in October 2012. The building was completed and opened in November 2013. Originally, the opening date was estimated a year later because it was assumed that a slower construction process.

Visually, the skyscraper located on Broadway near Parque Central is characterized by a square base and a glass façade. The single glass facade is above 100 meters for a few floors interrupted because there is an open atrium that represents the transition between the two hotels. A total of 639 hotel apartments in the building are available.
