( 17625 ) Joseflada is an asteroid of the main belt, by Czech astronomers Petr Pravec and Lenka Šarounová at the observatory Ondřejov (IAU code 557 ) was discovered in Ondřejov near Prague on 14 January 1996.

The asteroid was named after the Czech illustrator and children's book author, Josef Lada (1887-1957), who was best known for his illustration of The Good Soldier Svejk outside his home. His children's stories from the hangover Mikesch were filmed in 1964 by the Augsburg Puppet Theatre.
