1875–76 Scottish Cup
The Scottish FA Cup was 1875/76 played out for the 3rd time. The most important Scottish football cup competition began in October 1875, and ended with the finals on March 11 and the necessary replay March 18, 1876. FC Queen's Park won for the third time in the third edition of the competition. After a 1-1 draw in the first match against Third Lanark followed a week later, a 2-0 victory at Hampden Park in Glasgow.
