1909 Italian Football Championship

The Italian Football Championship 1909 was the 12th Italian football championship, which by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC ) was held.

Organization

From 10 January to 14 March 1909, the regional qualifying matches took place the regions of Liguria, Lombardy, Piedmont and Veneto.

The semi-finals, for which qualified each of the winners of the regional competitions took place from 21 February to 17 May 1909 in return game instead.

The two winners of the semi-finals then played in the finals again with return game the Italian football champions from 1909.

For the first time took Inter Milan in the Lombardy and Veneto Venice SSC part in the championship.
