( 19183 ) Amati is an asteroid of the main belt, which by the German astronomer frankness Börngen and Lutz D. Schmadel at the Thuringian State Observatory Tautenburg (IAU code 033) was discovered on October 5, 1991.

The asteroid was named after the Cremonese violin makers Amati dynasty. The best-known member, Nicola Amati, was the teacher of Andrea Guarneri and Antonio Stradivari.
