1952 Albanian Superliga

Kategoria e Pare The 1952 ( mutatis mutandis: First League ) was the 15th staging of the Albanian Football Championship and was hosted by the National Football Association Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. The season started on 20 January and ended on 10 July 1952.

Game Mode

In the 1952 season the Kategoria e Pare reached its largest expansion to date, with 21 participants. After it had in 1951 been no losers, increased for 1952 from the then second-rate Kategoria e Dyte seven teams: while Dinamo Vlora and Luftëtari i Shkollës së Bashkuar e Oficerëve " Enver Hoxha " Tirana completed their first Erstligaspielzeit, returned Lushnja Puna, Puna Lezha, Puna Shijak, Spartaku Korçë and Pogradec to Spartaku some more years of absence in the league back, Lushnja, Lezha and Shijak but with the new club name Puna (English work). The 21 participants were divided into three groups of seven teams. In each group, all teams competed twice each against each other. Group A

Extremely confident defending champions Dinamo Tirana prevailed in Group A. The capital club won all twelve games and suffered only two goals in 46 matches itself achieved. Finals

For the third time in a row, Dinamo Tirana secured with player-coach Zihni Gjinali in the final round of the Albanian title. As in previous seasons, it was a close fight against Partizani Tirana, and in 1952 separated the two rivals just one point. With four points behind Puna Shkodra finished in third place. In fourth place followed Puna Korçë. Record champion Puna Tirana was somewhat surprising in fourth. Sieglos remained Dinamo Vlora, which had made it the only climber in the final round.
