1954 World Men's Handball Championship
The 2nd World Handball Championship was held until January 17, 1954 in Sweden 13. At the tournament participated Denmark, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, the Federal Republic of Germany, France and hosts Sweden.
It was played in two preliminary groups, the group winners reached the final. From there they sat under the host Curt Wadmark through against the West German team with 17:14 ( 8:5 ).
