1965 Úrvalsdeild

The Icelandic Football Championship 1965 was the 54th season of the highest Icelandic Football League. The League began on 20 May in 1965 and ended with the last games on 26 September 1965.

It was attended by six teams in the competition, which was held in a simple round-trip round. The title went to so far 19 times in the KR Reykjavík.

Since the two best teams were equal on points after the regular season, the champion was determined in a playoff, which was won by KR Reykjavík, and thus was Icelandic Champion and was qualified for the European Cup of Champions 1966/67.
