1967 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The European Women's Volleyball in 1967 took place from 26 October to 8 November in Turkey. The number of participants increased to fifteen; this involved the federal German selection and the GDR. The Games were held in İzmir, Ankara, Istanbul and Adana. The Soviet Union won the title for the sixth time.
Mode
The fifteen participants were divided into the first round in three of four and a group of three. The group winners and runners-up were summarized in the final round to a group. In the mode " all against all " they determined the tournament winner. The remaining teams played to the ranks of nine to fifteen. Results from teams that already clashed in the first round were incorporated into the final round.
