1976 IIHF European U19 Championship
The 9th Hockey Championship U19 Juniors took place from 21 to 28 March 1976 in Kopřivnice and Opava in Czechoslovakia. The Games of the B group were held in Romania from 6 to 14 March 1976 in Bucharest and Ploiesti.

A group
The A- Group of the European Championship has been increased to eight teams. The Representation of Bulgaria renounced because of a flu epidemic on the participation and stood so firmly relegated. Instead of the Bulgarians worked with the U18 selection of the host country, but completed their games out of competition.
