1977 FIFA World Youth Championship
The first FIFA World Cup ( officially: FIFA World Youth Tournament for the Coca -Cola Cup) was held in Tunisia from 27 June to 10 July 1977. The world champion secured the Soviet selection that could conquer Mexico in the final on penalties 9-8.
To the best player of the tournament Volodymyr Bessonov was chosen from the Soviet Union, scorer of the Brazilian Guina.
