First in the season 1983/84 the German Bundesliga and thus German master of men was the VfB Stuttgart.

Season overview

The championship decided the 34th game, before the VfB Stuttgart ( since 29 Round tables first ) was two points ahead of the HSV. The goal difference of Stuttgart was around nine better than the hamburger. On 33 Round Stuttgart had won 2-1 at Werder Bremen, who until then equal points, HSV, in turn, lost their home match against Eintracht Frankfurt 0-2. On the final day of Stuttgart played his last home game against Hamburg. The Hamburg won 1-0 and remained in second place. The first three teams (VfB, HSV and Mönchengladbach ) were equal on points, one point behind -placed FC Bayern, 3 points behind the trio of runner-up from 1983 from Bremen. Between the master and 5th place so were only 3 points difference. This was not again until today.

Kickers Offenbach was the third Bundesliga club, the (76 /77) got after the SC Tasmania 1900 Berlin (65 /66) and Rot-Weiss Essen more than 100 goals. As the first and only club lost the 1st FC Nuremberg in the season, all away games.

The 32nd matchday of the 1983/84 season was a total of 53 gates of the highest-scoring round of the Bundesliga history.
