1987 UCI Road World Championships

The 54th UCI Road World Championships 1987 took place in early September in Villach, Austria.

Track

The World Championship circuit 1987, a 11.7 km circular route starting and finishing in Villach suburb Mary Gail. In the southeast, the route ran up to Faak and from there via St. Niklas an der Drau and Großsattel back to Mary Gail. Immediately after the start is to deal with a first long climb and a steep hill with a ten percent slope rises on the way from Faak to St. Nicholas.
