1988–89 Romanian Hockey League season

The 1988/89 season was the 59th season of the Romanian Hockey League, the highest Romanian Hockey League. Champion for the 26th time overall in club history CSA Steaua Bucharest.

Mode

In the main round each of the four teams completed a total of 24 games. The winner of the main round was champion. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
