1989 European Competition for Women's Football

The European Football Championship Women 1989 (English: UEFA Women 's Championship ) was the third playout of the European continental championship in women's soccer and took place from June 28 to July 2 in pure knockout system in the Federal Republic of Germany.

Hosts West Germany took advantage of his home advantage and was a final victory over defending champions Norway.

Silvia Neid brought the German team after 57 minutes on the clock. The balance fell in the 72nd minute by Elisabetta Vignotto. In the small final to Sweden secured a 2-1 victory after extra time against Italy in third place.

Final
