Master of the Austrian Hockey League in 1990/91 was the 25th time in club history the EC KAC, who won in the final against EC VSV.
Mode
The six teams played in the regular season, six times against each other. Subsequently, a play-off was held at which the first played against the fourth, the second to the fifth and the third against the sixth of the base passage. The three losers of these matches played in a repechage (using round-trip round ), who discharges the semi-finals together with the three winners of the play-off encounters.
