Master
Croatian champion in 1993/94 was Hajduk Split on the final day with a 4-0 home win against NK Dubrava Zagreb. It was the 13th league title for the club, the fourth in Croatia and the second in the first HNL.

Qualification for European Cup
Hajduk Split took over as master at the qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League 1994/95, in part, Croatia Zagreb as cup winners qualified for the first round of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1994/95. At the UEFA Cup 1994/95 no Croatian club took part.
Relegated team
The four last placed Pazinka Pazin, Dubrovnik, Zagreb Dubrava and Radnik Velika Gorica alighted at the second HNL.
Climber
Marsonia Slavonski Brod and Neretva Metković rose to the winner of the two second division seasons. The League played in the episode season with 16 clubs.
