1995–96 La Liga

The Primera División 1995/96 was the 65th season in the history of the Football League. The season started on September 3, 1995 and ended May 25, 1996.

Because of their debt after the 1994/95 season were the teams from Celta Vigo and Sevilla FC in the third division, the Segunda División B downgraded. The teams of Real Valladolid and Albacete Balompié reviews, it was sporty, it remained in the league. However, officials and fans of Celta and Sevilla protested successfully with the Spanish Football Federation against relegation. Subsequently, the League was unceremoniously increased to 22 teams, as now Valladolid and Albacete protested against the effective application of their descent.
