1995 FIVB Women's World Cup

The Volleyball World Cup 1995 was the seventh edition of the competition. He was held in Japan between the 3rd and 17th of November. Cuba won the title. This competition was the same as the qualification for the Olympic Games 1996.

  • Brazil Brazil and Peru as a finalist in the 1995 South American Championship
  • Egypt Egypt and Kenya as the winner and runner-up of the African Cup of Nations 1995
  • Canada Canada at the invitation of the FIVB

Mode

The twelve participants played four rounds, where they were informally divided into two groups. The system was " every man for himself ". The first three teams were given a room for the 1996 Olympic Games respectively.
