1995 King Fahd Cup

The King Fahd Cup 1995 ( English King Fahd Cup 1995) was the second playout this intercontinental football competition for teams with more than two participants and took place from 6 to 13 January for the second time after 1992 in Saudi Arabia instead. The tournament is considered the forerunner of the first 1997 discharged FIFA Confederations Cup.

European champions Denmark won the tournament in the final against the defending champions Argentina and South America.

Third in the tournament, the Mexican national soccer team was in front of 20,000 spectators in Riyadh after a 5-4 victory against Nigeria on penalties. The goals in the regular season shot Ramón Ramírez for Mexico in the 20th and Daniel Amokachi for Nigeria in 31 minutes.

Final

In the finals, which took place in the King Fahd Stadium before 35,000 spectators, Denmark won through the gates of Michael Laudrup in the eighth and Peter Rasmussen in the 75th minute with a 2-0 win against the defending champions Argentina.
