1996 Men's World Floorball Championships
The first Floorball World Championship for Men was held in Sweden from 11 to 18 May 1996. Venues were Skellefteå, Uppsala and Stockholm.
Sweden beat Finland in the final 5-0 and became the first world champion. Bronze went to Norway.
