1997–98 Icelandic Hockey League season

The 1997/98 season was the seventh season of the Icelandic Hockey League, the highest Icelandic Hockey League. Champion for the seventh time total in club history Skautafélag Akureyrar.

Mode

In the main round, the two teams completed two games. Both teams qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
