1st Airmobile Brigade (Bundeswehr)

The Airmobile Brigade 1 ( LBwglBrig 1) was a brigade of the German Army with headquarters of the rod on the Heeresflugplatz Fritzlar in northern Hesse. History

The brigade as a major unit of the Rapid Reaction Force was established in 1995 following the restructuring of the Bundeswehr for "new army for new tasks " with the assistance of forces of Panzergrenadierbrigade 5 from Homberg (Efze ) and the Army Aviation Corps on 3 April 1997 officially as Luftmechanisierte Brigade 1 in Fritzlar in Commissioned. Decommissioning
