1st Division (German Empire)

The 1st Division, for the duration of the mobile ratio referred to as the 1st Infantry Division, was a major unit of the Prussian army.

The United Association was originally founded in March 1816 as troops brigade in Königsberg and extended on September 5, 1818 1st Division. The command was in Königsberg until the dissolution of 1919.
