2 is the title of 2011 published second studio album, the supergroup Black Country Communion.

Formation

Even before the release of her published in September 2010, named after them self debut album, the members of the band had begun writing songs for their second album. As a producer Kevin Shirley acted again. The album was released on June 10, 2011 in Germany and contains eleven titles. Already in advance the group released the song The Outsider as a download on their website. On 7 May 2011, the single was released Man in the Middle, as well as an associated video clip.

The titles were not, as now, mostly common, track by track recorded, but played by the whole group together in the studio. The drums were set up for this album in a big room and recorded without any technical measures (samples). Producer Shirley wanted to achieve a " Bonham " sound, so a sound that is very similar to Led Zeppelin.

The album has already established two weeks after its release in the UK album charts; in the "UK Top 40 rock album " charts, it went straight to number 1 Rocks wrote:
