2000–01 Eredivisie (ice hockey) season
The 2000/01 season was the 41st season of the Eredivisie, the highest Dutch hockey league. Masters were to total the eleventh time in the club's history the Tilburg Trappers.

Mode
In the main round of the six teams each completed 20 games. For the second round, the league was split into two groups. The three teams of Group A and Group B first qualified for the playoffs, where the Master was played. For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime there were two points in a defeat after overtime there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
