2000–01 NOFV-Oberliga

The 2000/01 season the Oberliga Nordost was the tenth season of the Football Oberliga Nordost and the seventh as the fourth- highest league in Germany. The two winners of Season North and Südstaffel run two play-offs for the determination of the riser to the Regionalliga. The last three teams of two seasons alighted at the Association League and division.

Season North

As part of the reform of the Regional, in which the four regional leagues were merged into two leagues, five teams were relegated to the North Season of NOFV- Oberliga in the preseason. The BFC Dynamo was selected as one of this year relegated Season winner and qualified for the play-offs to the Regional ascent. In these games, the Berlin met the winner of Season Südstaffel, 1.FC Magdeburg.

Since the first team of Tennis Borussia Berlin from the Regional descent, the second team had to forcibly dismount from the league. As a further relegated the previous Movers Black-Red Neustadt and SD Croatia Berlin stood firm as Seventeenth and Eighteenth. Once relegated stood firm from the Regional, and the Sixteenth, Anker Wismar dismounted in the fifth division.

Season South

As part of the reform of the Regional, in which the four regional leagues were merged into two leagues, six teams were relegated to the South NOFV season of the premier league in the preseason. In contrast to the North - season, these six teams occupied at the end of the season the six first places and thus supplanted the previous league teams into midfield and below. The first place, thus qualifying for the play-offs for promotion to the Regionalliga reached the 1 FC Magdeburg.

VfL Halle 96 pulled his team back at the end of the season from playing the league and was thus relegated to the fifth division fixed. Wacker Nordhausen and the FV Bischofswerda 09 rose as the last and second last from directly. The Sixteenth and Fifteenth played relegation matches against the appropriately placed teams from the North - season to determine the order of the other losers. Rise Games for Regional

The relegation matches between the winners of the North and the South Season contested by the BFC Dynamo and the 1st FC Magdeburg. The first leg in Berlin ended in a draw 0-0. At home, the Magdeburg could then clearly win 5-2 and secured promotion to the Regionalliga. Remained in the Oberliga During the BFC Dynamo. Descent games
