2000–01 Nordic Football Championship

The Nordic Football Championship 2000-01 for men 's national teams took place between January 2000 and 1 February 2001 31. The competition, which was held by 1981-83 and a break of 17 years for the 14th and final time, Finland was able to win for the first time.

Most of the games were held in Spain, in the hall two encounters were completed. Denmark joined the first three games with a league selection, Sweden played in 2001 exclusively with players from domestic leagues and Finland graduated up to the game against Norway, all encounters with players from the Nordic countries.

Mode

The now six participating teams, for the first time took part in the Faroe Islands and Iceland, played on the mode " all against all " the tournament winner, each team is now once each played against each other. The team that had the most points or goal difference after all games on points, was the tournament winner.
