2001–02 Icelandic Hockey League season

The 2001/02 season was the eleventh season of the Icelandic Hockey League, the highest Icelandic Hockey League. Champion for the ninth time overall in club history Skautafélag Akureyrar.

Mode

In the main round of the three teams completed twelve games. The top two teams qualified for the championship final. For a win, each team was given two points, a draw there was a point and a defeat.
