2001–02 Thai League

The Bangkok Metropoliatan Administration FC withdrew from the game mode back to lack of funds. Rattana Bundit, took the empty seat. This was the second case within two years after it had already retreated to the end of the 2000 season of the Thai Farmers Bank FC from the game operation.
