2002–03 Czech Extraliga season
The season 2002 /03 was the 10th regular hosting of the Czech Extraliga. Czech champion was the HC Slavia Prague, who won in the play-off final against HC IPB Pojišťovna Pardubice with 4-3 victories. In the relegation of HC Vagnerplast Kladno won the series against the HC Havířov and rose to the Extraliga, while the HC Havířov descent into 1 league.

Mode
In 52 games, all teams play against each other four times each, each team throughout the season 26 home and 26 away games. The teams ranked 1-8 qualify directly for the play-offs, which will be played in best-of- seven- mode. The team plays at No. 14 in the League Relegation against the champions of League 1 to the whereabouts in the Extraliga.
