2003–04 UEFA Women's Cup

The UEFA Women's Champions League 2003/ 04 was the third playout of the European Champion competition for women's football clubs. In the final, in which Umeå IK for the second time after 2001 /02 met the first FFC Frankfurt, the Swedes clearly translated this time with a total of 8-0 gates through against the German champions. The representatives from Switzerland and Austria already eliminated from the first round.

Qualification

Twelve national champions were divided into three groups. The group winners reach the group stage.

Group 1

Tournament in Novo mesto (Slovenia). The Belgian champions SK Lebeke - Aalst renounced participation.

Group 2

Tournament in Skopje (Macedonia).

Group 3

Tournament in Osijek (Croatia )

Preliminary round

The winners of the three skill groups, the 28 other national champions and the defending champions are divided into eight groups of four teams. One of the four teams in each group acts as the host. The group winners progress to the quarter -finals.

Tournament in Copenhagen ( Denmark)

Tournament in Bobruisk ( Belarus ). AE Aegina is due to the direct comparison in second.

Group 3

Tournament in Umeå (Sweden). Slavia Prague Sparta Prague replaced. Sparta champion title in 2003 but was withdrawn because of the use of a non-playing legitimate actor.

Group 4

Tournament in Voronezh ( Russia).

Group 5

Tournament in Chernigov (Ukraine).

Group 6

Tournament in Oslo (Norway )

Tournament in Bilbao (Spain).
