2003 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship
The sixth U-19 Football Championship Women was held in the period from 25 July to 3 August 2003 in Germany. France won the tournament with a 2-0 victory over Norway. For the French women it was the first success. Defending champion Germany was eliminated in the group stage, Austria and Switzerland did not qualify for the finals. Scorer was Shelley Thompson from Germany.

Qualification
There three group stages were played, with the four group winners qualify the third group stage as well as the three best runners-up for the final round. Hosts Germany qualified automatically. The Austrian selection had already failed in the first group stage, while Switzerland was eliminated in the third round.
Venues
The preliminary round was, creators, Wurzen and Zwenkau discharged into diving, Markranstadt, Markham, Borna, Grimsby and Wyke Regis.
The semi-final matches were played in Grimsby and Markranstadt, while the final in Leipzig Alfred - Kunze- Sportpark took place.

Group A
Hosts Germany failed in its first group stage and had already left early after the defeats against Sweden and Italy. The 6-0 victory over the already qualified Englishwomen was only statistically.
The match between Italy and Sweden was decided in a penalty shootout, as both teams were point - and torgleich. The Swedes finally sat down by 4-1.

Semifinal
In the first semi-final, the French selection set by the results of Cécilia Josserand in the 12th and Nonna Debonne in the 89th minute with a 2-0 win against England by and for the second year in a row, the final.
In the second match, the Swedes went through two goals from Nilla Fischer 2-0 lead, but Norway could come to a goal back before the scored in injury time 2-2 in the 71st minute. The penalty shoot Norway won 4-2.
Final
In the final, France and Norway were over again, the Frenchwoman won through the gates of Amélie Coquet (18th minute) and Lilas Traïkia ( 46 minutes ) 2-0.
