The Memorial Cup 2005 was the 87th edition of the tournament the same name. Participating teams were the champions of their respective leagues, the Rimouski Océanic (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League) and the Kelowna Rockets ( Western Hockey League). Automatically qualified master of the Ontario Hockey League and host were the London Knights. The fourth team, the Ottawa 67 's were invited to the London Knights defeated in the OHL final. The tournament took place from 21 to 29 May at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario instead. The tournament was broadcast nationally on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada on television.
The London Knights won by a final victory against the Rimouski Océanic their first Memorial Cup.
