2006–07 Czech 1. Liga season
The 2006/ 07 was the 14th regular hosting of the first league, the second Czech hockey league. In the playoffs, the HC Slovan Ústí nad sat by Labem, which rose directly in the Extraliga. Because of league expansion to 16 teams for the following season, there was no losers.
Mode
In the main round each of the 14 teams completed a total of 52 games. The eight highest ranked teams qualified for the playoffs. For the teams ranked 9-14 the season was ended prematurely. For a victory after regulation time, each team received three points with a victory after overtime to give two points for a loss after overtime there was a point. For one defeat after regulation time gave no points.
