2007 Veikkausliiga

The First Division 2007 is the 18th season in the First Division, the highest Finnish league for football the men, since their introduction in 1990. First match was April 21, the season ended with the 26th Round on 27 October.

In the Relegation Table Thirteenth the First Division and the Second Table of the Ykkönen played for the last free space for the next season of the First Division.

Participations in the European Cup and relegation

Tampere United takes in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League 2008 /09 part. Second- Haka achieved the qualification for the UEFA Cup 2008/ 09 and the third-placed Turku PS participates in the UEFA Intertoto Cup.

The-table AC Oulu rises directly into the Ykkönen, the second- highest league in Finland, from, while FC Viikingit Helsinki must compete in a relegation to the Second Table of the Ykkönen.

In the relegation Viikingit lost to Rovaniemi PS. Rovaniemen PS thus plays 2008 in the First Division.

Scorer of the Brazilian Rafael FC Lahti was with 14 goals, followed by Toni Lehtinen ( 11 goals, Haka ) and Mikko Paatelainen ( Turun PS) and Berat Sadik (FC Lahti ) with 9 hits.
