2008 AFC U-19 Championship

The U-19 Asian Cup 2008 was the 35 edition of this tournament. It was organized by the AFC and found from 31 October to 14 November 2008 in Saudi Arabia instead. The Games were held in Dammam and Al- Khobar.

Mode

The competition consisted of a discharged the league system, with round-trip games qualifying round, and the discharged in a group stage and the finals finals.

In the final round of the sixteen participants formed four preliminary round groups of four teams, of which the top two qualify for the quarter-finals. The four best teams in the tournament also qualified for the U- 20 World Cup 2009.
