2008 Men's World Floorball Championships
The 7th Floorball World Championship for Men was held in the Czech Republic from 6 to 14 December 2008. The group games were played in the CEZ Arena in Ostrava and the finals at the O ₂ Arena in Prague, with the exception of the game at No. 9, which was held in Prague Sparta Arena.
The title was won for the first time in Finland, was able to defeat Sweden in the final after overtime and so gained their series of six World Championships broke. It was indeed the first game lost Sweden in a World Cup.
