2008 Vuelta a España, Stage 12 to Stage 21#Stage 21

The 21st and final stage of the Vuelta a España 2008 on September 21, led over 102.2 km from San Sebastian de los Reyes to Madrid. Two sprints were on the program. First, the line ran 60 kilometers to Madrid. Finally, a six kilometers long circuit had to be handled seven times there then.

Greg van Avermaet: After a leisurely start the first sprint to a matter for the Silence-Lotto team, which won the vote closed, especially the support of the points jersey was.
