2009–10 EIHL season
The 2009/10 season was the seventh season of the Elite Ice Hockey League, the highest British Hockey League. First the regular season and thus British Champion were the Coventry Blaze, while the Belfast Giants interspersed in the playoffs.

Mode
In the regular season, each of the eight teams completed a total of 56 games. The winner was British Champion. All eight teams qualified for the playoffs, where the playoff winner was played. For a victory after regular time and overtime after each team won two points for a defeat after overtime and a point for a defeat after regular time zero points.
