2009–10 New Zealand Football Championship

The sixth edition of the New Zealand Football Championship began with the first League Gameday on 1 November 2009 and ended on 25 April 2010 with the final game. Champion Waitakere United.

Season

As always dominated mainly Auckland City and Waitakere United the championship. Even Wellington qualified successfully for the play-offs, as in the previous season.
